L'stev, rider of brown Vanzanth

The Weyrlingmaster: all bark, no bite

L'stev is 59, 5' 8" in height - and would look taller if he'd only stand up straight. His customary stance is a defensive hunch. Hidden beneath his customary bandanna is a ratty mess of long dark brown hair shot through with grey, but all anyone ever sees is sideburns and bristling dark eyebrows. He glares suspiciously out from under them with dark brown eyes. While not a big man, there's something quite solid about L'stev.

He favours waistcoats over thin shirts left open at the neck to display more greying chest hair than most people would really like to see. While serving actively as Weyrlingmaster he grudgingly restricts his choice of bandannas to black.

Vanzanth is a solidly built brown of a very ordinary colour that L'stev likes to call 'muddy', but his age is showing in the green around his muzzle. More than forty Turns with L'stev has seen Vanzanth pick up his rider's habits, and he likes to hunch his shoulders, gargoyle-like.

L'stev will most often be found keeping a withering eye on his candidates or weyrlings.
