Valonna, rider of queen Shimpath

A Weyrwoman under siege

Valonna is 21, 5' 4" in height, and slim, almost delicate, in build. Her hair is pale blonde and she braids it intricately and religiously each day. Her eyes blue to grey, and her complexion fair. She is pretty, if not quite beautiful - endearingly young and vulnerable.

Valonna dresses the way she was taught - demurely, in ultra-feminine skirts and gowns in pastel shades that don't overwhelm her pale skin - soft greens and blues. The indigo of Madellon Weyr's insignia also suits her, although she seldom wears riding leathers or rank markings.

Shimpath is a sleek queen, less conditioned than most dragons because of her enforced inactivity, but neither over-large nor overweight. She is a bright sunny yellow-gold in hue. She is confined to the Hatching ground for the duration of Dragonchoice II, protecting her eggs.

Valonna leads a relatively solitary life as Weyrwoman but is most likely to be seen with her Weyrleader T'kamen.
