Dragonchoice: Weyrling – Chapter One

Dragonchoice: Candidate – our groundbreaking interactive Dragonriders of Pern fanfiction adventure – has been live for 18 months now. It’s mini-sequel, Dragonchoice: Recap, has seen thousands of players continuing the stories of their newly-Impressed weyrlings and dragonets.

The second full game in the Dragonchoice adventure – Dragonchoice: Weyrling – Chapter One is deep into production. But our dedicated and lively Facebook group has just passed the 500-member mark, and we want to celebrate!

So we’re proud to present legendary artist Melissa Hudson’s magnificent cover art for Dragonchoice: Weyrling – Chapter One, featuring all the dragonets you’ve come to know and love!

And that’s not all! Dragonchoice players who sign up for any level of Melissa’s Patreon – entitling them to exclusive and behind the scenes access to Melissa’s gorgeous original art, along with other benefits – will be entered into a draw to win a custom portrait of the Dragonchoice weyrling and dragonet of their choice!

Terms & conditions

  1. One Dragonchoice player only will win the custom portrait by Melissa Hudson, drawn randomly from all Dragonchoice players who sign up to any level of Melissa’s Patreon before 1 December 2023.
  2. Players must respond to Melissa’s welcome email stating that they are a Dragonchoice player to be entered in the draw.
  3. One entry only per person.
  4. Custom portrait to include one human character and one dragonet, in full colour, with a plain background.
  5. Custom portrait will be provided in digital format only to the winning player.
  6. There is no alternative or monetary prize.
