Background: I’m 21 and an English major/Spanish minor, with aspirations of an M.F.A. in Creative Writing – with luck, I’ll write my own fiction someday. I’ve been a McCaffrey fan since I was 12 years old, when I first read “The Smallest Dragonboy” in my seventh-grade English class. I didn’t actually begin drawing dragons until high school, but since then it’s been a constant effort to refine my skill and style. Recently, I’ve been trying to get away from dragons and back into the challenges of long pose, but dragons are still a pleasure to draw.

Favourite media: My preferred traditional medium is graphite, but I prefer to colour on my computer.
