200,000 and counting
I’d like to be reporting something more exciting, like “I’ve finished DC3!”, or “I’ve nearly finished DC3!”, or “I’m within sight of the final third of DC3!”
Alas not.
Instead, I can only report that the unfinished manuscript of Dragonchoice 3: Subtitle Unconfirmed ticked over the 200,000 word mark tonight. That’s nearly the length of Dragonchoice and Dragonchoice 2 combined. Yes, it’s official: I’m writing A Feast For Crows, Pern-style. Except I won’t actually be splitting in half and calling it two books. DC3 will just be really, really, really long.
So long that Word’s spellcheck has actually given up on red-squiggling all the names and Pern-vocab. Which is sort of peaceful, now I think about it.
Continue to Warner Bros options Dragonriders of Pern movie…again…
What? You didn’t already teach that spellcheck what’s what about Pern!?
Thanks for the update. I look forward to rereading the first two, yet again, then this one is released. Seems I might be occupied for the better part of a week or two, despite the fact that this site produces tales of page-turner quality. 😉
I would love another update on this book, if you have any new news. I’m biting at the bit to get back into recreational reading now that I’m out of College (hopefully for good), but I don’t want to reread the first two books until the third is starting to come out…
Any ETA?
Well, I gave in a month or two back and reread them both.
Any news on #3 yet? I still see all the Dragonchoice 3 stuff is password protected still… 🙁
Still waiting for an awesome read 😉
